- As a family, we choose to first honour God in all of our actions and our words; while understanding that we are all imperfect people.
- We choose to forgive others, just as Christ forgave us in our shortcomings so that we can encourage each other in our daily walk with God.
- We choose to be diligent in teaching our children all of the required and applicable studies, while also allowing them to pursue their own interests and hobbies, to ensure they are becoming all that they were designed to be.
- We believe that children are their own born persons and that each has an individual learning style with a unique set of gifts and abilities. As parents, we believe it is our role to help guide them and to give them the right tools to lead them towards their best future, to be all that God has called them to be.
- Through leading by example, rich life experiences, and amazing literature, we will teach our children to be global citizens, willing servants to others, strong leaders and compassionate people.
- We believe that the single most important role-model in a child’s life is the parents, and therefore we strive to be the best versions of ourselves by leaning on our Creator as the sole provider and designer of our lives.
A life passage we have chosen for our children is found in Colossians 1:9-12 - For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
